![]() Yes, I was surprised that Jojo went Alliance. ![]() So, Aysa wimps out on trying to show her side of the situation, berated Ji for his plan and blaming him for Shen-zin's dying when he was ALREADY DYING, was delighted when the plan worked, then tells the player afterward that she cannot forgive Ji's decision. By the way, you're still wrong Ji, and I won't forgive you for your plan, which worked." So, she's like, "Phew! We did it! It worked!. After that, you can talk to Ji and Aysa before picking sides, and she said something about Ji's decision going too far and being unforgivable, after said event. The happy and relieved part isn't really what gets me though. Ji's plan -worked- and the isle was saved.Īfterward, Aysa said something along the lines of, "We did it! We risked everything but we did it!" She spent most of her time meditating and kicking a giant lizard around, and then acts happy and relieved when Ji's plan, which she saw as stupid and berated Ji for, worked. The turtle wasn't much worse off than he already was when the airship was blown out of his side. The thing is, Shen-Zin was -already dying. He -knew- that there would be a wound, and that if he failed it meant death for everyone. Sure, blowing up the "thorn" was a huge risk, but Ji was confident that it would work and that any wound created would be healed. Then, after the ship was blown out, Aysa stated that the turtle was dying and told Ji that she hoped he could forgive himself. She tried to argue, then quickly gave up. I won't stop you," instead of trying to think of her own solution. I really started to dislike Aysa when she just went, "Okay. The turtle said he was only hurting, Ji jumped the gun and presumed to say he was dying asap! I like the knife analogies some suggested, and Ji got lucky with having healers/doctors there at the right time and place. I have to side with Aysa at the end though. I like both characters, but they focused way more on questing with Ji than Aysa. I wouldn't have minded spending some more time with her, even if it was for more mundane tasks that better fit her "Lets not jump in and smash stuff" philosophy.Īlso am I the only one who finds it surprising Jojo goes to the Alliance? This so much. On the other hand Aysa just sort of meditates, tells you she's going to meditate, then meditates and tells you to go and hang out with Ji. We spend plenty of time bro-fisting with Ji, you get a real sense of being buddies with him. Just one or two lines would have added to the urgency. As for people calling Ji reckless I recall some earlier interviews stating that they were heading straight for the path of the Maelstrom, though this never actually gets pointed out in the quests themselves. Though I found the Skyseeker part a bit ironic: Aysa immediately runs off to contact and save the Alliance whereas Ji hangs back and gets into negotiations with the Horde. They're both right in their own ways and do compliment their respective factions nicely. Ji often has to go through several "solutions" before gets it right, but ultimately gets there in the end.Īysa takes longer to meditate and in my view comes across as a bit of a bitch, but rarely do things blow up in her face.
